This was written in dedication to the great Roy Hargrove as he always played in the pocket. I wanted to write this to also showcase a group of this size. The octet is ensemble not used very much in the ATX area. When I was living here I wanted to bring this ensemble to life in ATX. I hope you enjoy, "The Pocket." This also features all the horn players in the band.
